Why KIN exists

Exploration and connection.
Made easy.

A beautiful place is easy to put on a wish list. Finding the right people, the right week and someone to take care of it all? That’s where we come in.

The founder

Hey, I’m Yorick.
Master of side quests.

I started sailing eight years ago the way most people do: I booked a week with one of the big sailing companies. The people were lovely. The boat, less so. Let’s just say it had seen a dozen years and had a creak for every one of them.

I came home with great memories and one nagging thought: this could be so much better. A newer yacht. Better food. A week that feels grown-up and a little bit luxurious, without losing any of the fun. Something I’d actually want to share with my friends, and a week that brings us closer.

Nobody else was going to organise something like this, so I figured I’d have to do it myself. In normal life I have a good job, so KIN is my favourite side quest that I do just for the fun of it. Because nothing creates bonds like spending seven days on a boat together.

Small crews.
Long memories.

KIN creates small-group adventures around beautiful places, movement, great food and people worth meeting. We begin on the water, with eight guests and a catamaran in the Ionian and the Saronic Gulf.

Some crews are brought together from people arriving solo or with a friend. Others arrive complete: old friends, teams and creative circles with a reason to get away.

A capable skipper. A thoughtful KIN Host. A morning swim, a path to explore and a table with room for everyone. We plan enough to make it easy, then leave space for the good things you couldn’t plan.
